Omega - near mint+ brushed aluminium case (approximately 130x100mm) in its fitted oak carrying case, very clean condition, another [view]. Original [paperwork]. mint signed black dial (original) with white painted markers, sweep seconds. Under the dial is the regulation and setting [area]. Developed for the French navy which chose it for its fleet from among 36 other competitive products after one year of testing at sea under the most severe conditions.. signed chronometer grade quartz movement (caliber 1525 4.19 Mhz), french military spec with antimagnetic enclosure, Superb example of this high precision instrument (less than one second of deviation per month) successfully passed the most rigorous scientific tests at the Neuchatel Observatory: temperature variations, thermal shocks, magnetic fields, etc. Which after 47 hours of examination earned it the official title of quartz "Quartz Marine Chronometer", with all paperwork and certificate..
